Vintage Dinky Toys France No. 80E Obusier de 155 A.B.S. – Boxed

Original French-made Dinky Toys military artillery model, reference 80E, representing the Obusier de 155 A.B.S. 155mm howitzer.

Finished in the traditional military olive green and featuring a highly detailed gun assembly with twin trails, wheels and operating artillery components.

The underside is correctly marked Dinky Toys / Meccano France, with 80E and 155 markings visible.

Supplied with its correct original yellow Dinky Toys box, clearly marked:

“Obusier de 155 A.B.S. – 80E”

The model appears to be in very good vintage condition, retaining a strong original finish with relatively little obvious paint loss considering its age. The tyres, wheels, barrel and associated components appear present from the photographs.

The original box is also particularly displayable, with strong yellow/red graphics and clear identification. It does show age-related wear, including rubbing, edge/corner wear and some distortion to the lid, all of which can be seen in the photographs.

A very attractive example of an increasingly collectible French Dinky military model, especially desirable with its correctly numbered original box.
