Vintage Dinky Toys No. 673 Scout Car – Original Box

A classic original Dinky Toys military Scout Car, reference 673, finished in traditional military olive green.

Made in England by Meccano Ltd, with the underside clearly embossed:

DINKY TOYS – SCOUT CAR – 673 – MADE IN ENGLAND – MECCANO LTD

The model retains its military green finish, rubber tyres and small driver figure. The coloured identification markings are also still present on the front wings.

Supplied with its correct original yellow Dinky Toys No. 673 box, featuring the illustrated Scout Car artwork and multilingual “Auto de Reconnaissance” identification.

Condition:

The model presents very well for its age, with some age-related wear, marks and minor paint loss consistent with a genuine vintage example. Wheels and tyres are present and the model rolls freely.

The original box remains very presentable with strong colours and graphics, although it does show age-related wear, rubbing, creasing and some damage/wear around the corners and edges. There is also some period pencil writing to one end panel.

An attractive original boxed Dinky military model and a good addition to a vintage Dinky, Meccano or military diecast collection.
