Vintage Dinky Toys No. 670 Armoured Car – Original Box

Original vintage Dinky Toys No. 670 Armoured Car, manufactured in England by Meccano Ltd.

Finished in military olive green with rotating turret, long gun barrel, four rubber tyres and matching green hubs.

The underside is clearly marked:

Supplied with its correct original yellow Dinky Toys No. 670 illustrated box, marked “Armoured Car”.

Model condition:

The model is in good vintage condition overall and displays very well. There is some age-related paint wear, small chips and marks, particularly around raised edges and exposed areas. The gun barrel appears straight and intact, all four wheels and tyres are present, and the turret is present.

Box condition:

The original box is considerably worn, with rubbing, creasing, softened edges, tears and damage to the end flaps. Despite this, the main illustrated panels remain attractive and clearly display the Dinky Toys 670 Armoured Car artwork. Please regard the box as worn/damaged but original rather than a high-grade example.

A very collectable original Dinky military model which would sit particularly well alongside the 673 Scout Car and other Dinky military vehicles.
