An attractive original French Dinky Toys military model, No. 821 Camionnette Militaire “Unimog” Mercedes, manufactured by Meccano in France.

Finished in military olive green, the model features the classic Mercedes Unimog cab and load bed together with its removable moulded canvas-style rear cover/tilt.

The model presents very well for its age, retaining a strong original military finish with relatively light signs of age and use. Wheels and tyres are present and the underside carries the correct Dinky Toys / Meccano / Made in France markings.

Importantly, it comes with its original yellow and red French Dinky Toys No. 821 box, correctly marked:

“Camionnette Militaire ‘Unimog’ Mercedes”

The box is in very good displayable condition for its age, retaining strong colour and clear printing. There is some expected age-related edge/corner wear and minor marking, as shown in the photographs.
