The Dinky Collection DY-902 – Classic Sports Cars Series I – Limited Edition 1:43 Set

Original Matchbox Dinky Collection presentation set featuring three classic European sports cars in 1:43 scale.

The set comprises:

1958 Porsche 356A Coupé – finished in red

1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing – finished in silver

1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS – finished in metallic blue

Each model is mounted on the original hardwood-effect presentation plinth with its own brass-effect identification plaque.

The original packaging describes this as Classic Sports Cars – Series I and states that the Special Limited Edition was produced to a set quantity of 17,000 units worldwide.

From the photographs, all three models appear to be in excellent overall condition, with very clean paintwork, trim, glazing and wheels.

The original presentation packaging is complete and very displayable but shows age and storage wear. This includes rubbing/scuffing and marks to the large clear window, dust/marks, edge and corner wear and some general distortion/creasing. Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the condition description.
