Original Vintage Corgi Toys No. 309 Aston Martin DB4 Competition Model – Racing No. 3 – Original Box
A lovely original example of one of the classic early Corgi sports cars.
This is the Corgi Toys No. 309 Aston Martin DB4 Competition Model, produced in Great Britain between 1962 and 1965.
Finished in the attractive two-tone turquoise and white colour scheme with lemon interior, this example carries racing number 3 to the doors and the crossed Union Jack and chequered flag competition transfer to the bonnet.
The model features Corgi’s excellent period detailing including opening bonnet with detailed engine, spring suspension, spun hubs, jewelled headlights and glazed windows.

Most importantly, the model is supplied with its original blue and yellow Corgi Toys No. 309 illustrated picture box.
Condition: The model is in very good original vintage condition and displays extremely well. The turquoise and white paintwork remains bright with some age-related chips, rubbing and marks, particularly around exposed edges and raised areas. The original racing number and bonnet transfers remain present.
The wheels, tyres, glazing and interior all present well. The opening bonnet operates and reveals the detailed engine compartment.
The original box is complete and displays very well for its age, although it has expected storage and handling wear including rubbing, creasing, edge wear and wear/distortion to the end flaps. Please see the detailed photographs for its exact condition.
