Original Corgi Major Toys Gift Set No.4 – Bristol “Bloodhound” Guided Missile Set

Superb original vintage Corgi Major Toys military gift set dating from the late 1950s.

This impressive set includes the Bristol Bloodhound guided missile together with its launching ramp, loading trolley and RAF Land Rover, all presented with the original large illustrated Corgi Major Toys Gift Set No.4 box.

Set includes:

• Corgi No.351 RAF Land Rover with tin canopy and bonnet-mounted spare wheel

• No.1115 Bristol Ferranti Bloodhound Guided Missile

• No.1116 Launching Ramp

• No.1117 Bloodhound Loading Trolley

• Original Corgi Major Toys Gift Set No.4 illustrated outer box

The set displays extremely well and retains the complex operating loading trolley and adjustable missile launching equipment.

The RAF Land Rover has a particularly attractive original blue-grey finish and retains its canopy and spare wheel.

The Bloodhound missile retains its red nose cone, RAF roundel markings and yellow booster detail. There is age-related paint loss/chipping and marking to the missile, as clearly shown in the photographs.

The launching ramp and loading trolley also show some age/use-related wear but appear very presentable and the set displays superbly when assembled.

BOX: The original large yellow and blue Gift Set No.4 box is included. It remains colourful and highly displayable but has considerable age-related wear including rubbing, creasing, worn edges/corners, splits/separation and previous tape/reinforcement. Please study the detailed photographs carefully.
